ELIE T. SAYEGH

Elie Sayegh has over 40 years of experience in Civil, Commercial, Criminal, Real Estate, Family Law, Corporate and Arbitration Law. He is the Founder and Managing Partner of Sayegh Lawyers, a law firm established in 1983 that has grown into a leading legal practice with over 15 lawyers, including his three children.

 

Renowned for his expertise in Real Estate Law, Banking Disputes, and Corporate Litigation, Elie Sayegh has successfully represented clients in complex cases involving property transactions and asset enforcement. He also provides comprehensive legal counsel to both Lebanese and international clients, handling intricate criminal litigation related to either financial crimes like fraud, property-related crimes, or general offenses against individuals, like assault and battery. Additionally, he offers strategic advice on high-stakes banking and investment disputes, focusing on asset recovery and complex financial litigation.

Beyond his legal practice, he plays a vital role in the Lebanese legal educational system, serving as General Counsel for the General Secretariat of Catholic Schools in Lebanon and as a Member of its Legal Affairs Committee. Additionally, with his extensive knowledge in Arbitration and Mediation, he is the Founder and President of the Arbitration & Mediation Center, and has rendered, to date, over 400 Arbitration Awards.

In addition to his legal work, Elie Sayegh is an active lecturer at the Beirut Bar Association, leading workshops on Arbitration, Mediation, and Legal Drafting. He is also a regular media commentator on legal matters and has contributed to Legal Publications and Reform Initiatives in Lebanon. He has contributed valuable legal resources, including references to relevant codes and hundreds of lawsuits drafts, thereby benefiting fellow lawyers that can purchase them through a legal platform.
